| Best for for my Baby Lexi Hi Everyone, I'm new and just brought home my precious puppy. She is 4 months old and quite small and probably will be almost 3 pound as an adult. Please tell me the best food to feed her. I use Stella and Chewy frozen and Nature's VarietyFrozen bites for my 3 pound chihuahua. Is that ok for a puppy? Need to put her on a premium food as every bite counts. Thank you so much! Love this site! |

| What food did her breeder have her on? I would not feed raw to a pup because there systems are not prepared for it yet. One important thing to do before selecting a food is research the company.

| I'm not sure what she was on before so I don't want to upset her tummy, but I have been very happy with the food that I've fed Mandie from 4 1/2 months old until now (almost 1 year). It is Blue Buffalo Wilderness Puppy. I'm going to start mixing in the small breed selection next month until she's transitioned. But, I feel the Wilderness has given her all the nutrition she has needed and she is super active.
