| Oh gosh... I made my appointment for Joey to be fixed..Im so nervous! Ive had animals all my life and they have all been fixed, including Carley who was fixed just before we adopted her. Im not sure why this makes me so nervous. Even before I got him, and before YT I decided I didnt want to do it if he wasnt being mischievous, or marking or aggressive. Hes none of those things, but hes gotta have baby teeth removed and I figure I might as well do it all together...but mannnnn I dont wanna

| Oh gee, I hear what you are saying. We seem to obsess (thoughtfully) over anything that might be bad or a problem for our furbabies. Spaying usually reflex future breeding thoughts and/or socializing issues.

| Think of it this way, Rebecca. You are doing your boy a favor. Seriously. An animal's instinct (all animals) and DRIVE is to reproduce to keep the species going. When a pet is kept away from being able to do that, it truly is cruel. That is what they live to do..keep the species living. If we are not going to let them act on that drive..satisfy that drive, then we darn sure better love them enough to take that drive away so they are not being "held back" and deprived of all they know in their DNA - which is go make more babies/species members. Neutering is actually the most humane thing one can do for a male pet. So, you are loving your baby enough to overcome your fears and help him. I know it's hard because of surgery risks and he's such a little thing, but it's worth the risk to put his "drive" at ease.

| Thanks guys. I have a mobile vet consing so he doesn't have to associate the regular vet with bad and I also will be getting his rabies done while he's under so he doesn't have that pain.
