You dont have to answer this if you do not want to,
but was he a tea cup or a runt?
Was the breeder a reputable breeder- did they show proof of genetic health testing?
If he didnt get into anything im wondering if his genetics was the problem.

FOUR MONTHS! I am so very sorry. No matter HOW long you have them, you love them.

Who did you buy the puppy from? You really need to let YT know if she won't work with you. And if she is a really good and reputable breeder, that cared about her puppies, she would understand how you did what you did. You were grieving! Maybe somebody on the forum, and there are TONS of us, they will know something about her.

Call her and talk to her. At the LEAST, she should offer you another puppy if you pay the other $500 or let you not pay the rest. I would DEFINATELY check her out online and on YT to be sure you are dealing with a reputable person before even thinking of taking another puppy from her. DISHONEST people don't get by with much here on YT.

No genetic testing she just breeds .but has decided to get out of breeding. I'm looking for another breeder in my area gunna do my homework this time.hopefully I find a good breeder by summertime . I'm not going to make same mistakes with them.

She SAYS she is getting out of breeding but you don't know if she is just telling you that. I would definately share her name here on YT so nobody else makes a mistake and buys from her.

wouldn't congestive heart failure be cause for a refund as that would come under genetics and you have a vet report

It breaks my heart to hear what happened to your sweet little Baron. Only 4 months old. You are in my comforting prayers. I am sure it was nothing you did since your home was safe. I hope you can find out what happened to your precious angel dog. Some things in life we will not know. Take comfort in knowing you did all you could and did not leave him in a suffering state. My Teddy Peanut- we did the same thing. I still grieve but I know in my heart that Ted is where his creator takes all dogs and he is happy. He loved to play football. Little Baron rest in peace.

Sorry for your loss of Baron!! I would definitely let the breeder know Baron died of CHF. She may be getting out of the business, but she still needs to be made aware. I sure hope she waives the $500.:(
