What next? This has been a stressful few months at our household for the furkids and for me. First..Bogie has a lump on his back and it scares the poop out of me, turns out to be an abcess which antibiotics took care of pretty quickly. Fast forward 5 months...Jada has a lump basically in the same spot as Bogie but hers is deeper and not an abcess so it was surgically removed, and thank goodness it wasn't cancer. Next..our son who still lives at home has Max his 16 year old kitty who goes down hill fast from cancer in his kidneys...treatments did not work and we had to have him put down after a few weeks of treatments that didn't help and he quit eating. Take the babies in for their annual checkups and everything goes great, but they are beginning to get stressed when we go to the vet now (never had been stressed about it in the past). I split their vaccines up so we went yesterday for the remainder of their shots...Jada had been biting at her bum and scooting since Friday so I have our vet check her anal glands. Thank goodness he was able to express them as one side was blocked..so he recommends that a couple of times a week to hold a warm compress on her bum so they will hopefull not get blocked again.(she has never had to have them manually expressed before) Then Doc reaches to get Bogie off my lap to give him his shot and he promply pees all over me:eek:(Bogie not the vet:D) Bogie has never done anything like this before. I think they have both had enough of seeing the doctor so much and Bogie was just really stressing to have peed on me like that. I hope we don't have to go the the vets again until at least next checkups...Jada Bogie and Mommy have had enough of vet visits these last few months. |
awwwww sorry it has been so stressful! i hope you dont have to bring them back for awhile either. |
You've had a nightmare year, haven't you....all round :( It never rains but it pours.... I wish I had a wand and could magic it all better for you :poof_smiley: In the meantime, a big hug from Harry + I across the pond  Sally x |

Hope you have some kind of normalcy from now on. I pray that your surgery this time they get it all and you recover quickly. It has been a crazy month for me too so I can sort of relate to the stress level. Hugs to you and your gang! |

Sure seems like it goes in waves. I hope being peed on was the end of your ride and things can get back to a sense of normal. |
Bless your hearts! I hope things will look up and no more vet visits for a bit! |

Sorry you've had such a miserable year. *HUG* Mine are all scared to death and shake like a leaf when I take them to the vet. I did try some comfort zone which worked pretty well for Libby, but not as much for Maddie. I feel so bad for them when they shake like that. |
Oh my, bless your heart. Personally I'm not good with stress. You seem to be handling it with humour and grace. Hopefully things will get to normal soon. ((HUGGZZ)) |

They have both had procedures in the last few months that are making them be stressed about it. I may have to start using something when I take them in. Bogie didn't really act stressed except for the peeing on me, but poor Jada was shaking like a leaf.:( |

Poor babies. It stinks to have to deal with so much all at once. Hopefully everything will calm down and go back to normal. And poor momma too. I totally understand the momma stress! Hang in there! Hugs from my girls! |
Hope you all have a better year! |

and no more dusting either....:sidesplt: :sidesplt: would you believe that is how I injured my back:eek: It is so silly that bending over to dust the legs on a little table on my screen porch did this to my back. I am down to one visit to my chiropractor next week. It is still a little weak, but no more excruciating pain. |
Poor Bogie! Praying for peace and normalcy for your family for a very long time. I agree with everyone above, Michelle you have handled these trials so well. |
Oh Michelle! Let's pray the babies get over their nervousness and you won't have to face your health issues either. I don't pick out words to use well, but I am wishing blessings for you all. :love-hug3 |

God Love them. They will get back to normal, with all that love you give them. |
It sounds like you are having a bit of a tuff season in life. I hope that everything calms down for you. |
