| designer bags? I am planning to go on vacation in September. How do your dogs do in the dog bags? I will need to sneak her into restaurants. Did it take a while for them to get used to it? How do you keep them quiet? I need all the info I can get. Trinket and I thank you in advance. |

| That's a cute name, Trinket. Heidi puts up with her bag, but she's not crazy about it. I don't think she'd make it past 10 or 15 minutes without getting a little anxious. She usually gets to go out a lot without being in there, so she doesn't really associate "getting to go" with the bag. She will get in there on her own though. Hope you get to go somewhere not "too" hot so she will be comfortable. It can get a little warm.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I think you have to find dog friendly places, lol, I could never "sneak" Joey into any place, he's not that type of dog. There are many restaurants with patios that allow you to bring pets, and many stores are dog friendly, Joann's Michaels, Home Depot, and Lowes to name a few. Start taking her a few places that allow dogs and see how she does.

| Get one right away and get her used to it. I have to put mine up because Ahi will want to lie in it all day. When I bring it out she hops right in. From the get go I never played with her while she was in it. So she never makes any noise. We go to every restaurant with her. No one EVER knows. She is quiet and depends on what i'm eating I may give her a treat or two for being such a good girl. Other wise she just takes a nap or chews on her bully stick. I suggest getting one with sides that don't wilt if you are putting her down and not carrying the whole time. I have both the Kwigy-Bo Alex(Soft) and the Lucy Luxury's Charlie Bag(Stiff sides). We use the Lucy's a lot. Kind of pricey but worth it to me. I want to get another, from the Jaraden SoHo Collection the one that Lil Sis is selling. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...low-black.html It's kind of like getting them used to using a kennel.

| Rosie LOVES her Kwigy Bo! She will jump right in and she is ready to go. I would make some test runs before I tried to sneak my pup in. Just in case.

| Before I start my post I want to point out that I do sell bags...kwigy Bo and jaraden and will start with the petote. Remy is a lot better in her bag then she used to be. I can "hide" her for very short periods of time...by short I mean maybe 5 to 10 minutes. She will stay in the jaraden very well because it has the mesh and she can see but she does move around and she will whine. If she is hungry and she smells food she gets very upset . So...even with her being good it is hard to totally hide the fact I have a dog. I just heading home from a week in Virginia visiting my brother and we did well. We only left her home one day..a lot of places have out side seating and more and more are pet friendly. Most people are nice and friendly, but every once and a while you will run into a grump Good luck choosing your bag..and I agree get her used to it ASAP.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Oh no, I heard some Home Depots are changing their policies too, all it takes is one irresponsible dog owner to ruin it for everyone. I really appreciate the French tradition of welcoming dogs everywhere, are their dogs better behaved, or is everyone too drunk to notice?

| Be careful that the bag you buy has enough ventilation. My first one made by Ancol made my girls all sweaty and they looked as if they has been in the rain after they were in it for a while. Two of them together right enough. The one I have now is fab. It has a memory foam base and has mean at the front top and end for air circulation. These close over to hide the puppy if you don't want them seen. Forget the make of this one sorry .
