| I got insurance from vpi for my two yorkies right after adopting them. I think its important for the 1st year to get the full coverage. From what i have been reading and researching its well worth it. If something were to happen to the little ones you don't have to worry about the finanaces. after the 1st/2nd year we will get just partial coverage for them. |

| I have VPI and they are pretty good. The only thing that bugs me about them is that they only cover 1 check-up per year. So when you have a new puppy and they have to get a check-up every 3 weeks with their puppy shots, you have to pay the check-up price yourself. But from what I've heard...VPI is one of the best out there. They do process claims and send you the refunds very quickly. |

The pet insuance my Husbanda company is offerring, has 3 differrent types of plans they offer. The cost depends on which plan, the age of the dog and if youu have more than one dog youu get even more of a discount. Not all companys offer a 5 % discount and to be able to have it payrol deduucted. Go to www.VIP.com annd check out their plans. There is a 1-800 nnumber on the site you can call and get an exact quote or get questions answered. Hope this helps . | |
