yorkie glassy eyes can't sit still, fowl smell Please help me!!! My 3 yr old yorkie has been tested, for all kinds of things. She has had seizures in the past, although, not recently. She has glassy eyes, and is lethargicit? She can't sit still. Please help I am so worried! She has a foul smell in her mouth area. Although, doesn't seem to have any bad teeth. She seems as though she is dizzy? |
Please take your baby to the ER Vet, something is not right with her. While her teeth may look fine to you, you can't see under her gums and she may have an infection. |
SHe neeDS A VET! Ask ADMIN to move this to sick and injured for quicker response! |

She has been tested for all kinds of things, has she been tested about this???? This is serious, get her to the vet...please. |
I agree with everyone. That would scare me to death. I would change vets if I had too. Find one that will give you some answers and cares enough to do something. good luck with that baby. |
Has a vet checked her Liver Bile Acids ? Has she had an MRI of her head ? With the bad breath I would start with Liver Bile acids. No matter what tests a vet chooses to start with , this is an Emergency situation & needs to be addressed ASAP. |
I won't sit here and guess what tests your pup needs....all I know is that she needs to be seen ASAP! Take her to an emergency clinic tonight! |
Hi and Welcome to YT! Hope the vet was able to figure it out and that your baby is back home safe.... Copied from OP's blog 2/3/2012 my 2 year old 4 pound yorkie (Leilani) woke this morning doing fine and out of the blue began walking oddly with her back limbs. she can't walk up her steps very well without stumbling, when going down them her complete back legs and bottom come off the ground. she appears to be clear headed and isn't experiencing any pain? please help. thank you in advance. Is she still having this problem and is what she's doing now different? |
