Sorry you did not get your new girl :( I guess it was not meant to be...I am sure there is a special girl out there waiting for you and your little man! Denise |
I am sorry you didnt get the little girl. That price was just too good. Anyone would be a fool to not jump on that. I am sure you will find another yorkie. |
I hope that she got a good home... |
I told her i wanted her probably Sorry, you didn't take that girl - you will find another ;) :) i just think why that woman sold already - sometimes people say "please, do not sell", but NEVER show up. I have had thousands of these situations (I am in sale business). so don't be mad ;) usually, when something has been sold for less money, it goes VERY fast. people who want it for real come immediately ;) . I am not on her side, I am just trying to explain why it happened. anyway, good luck with finding another one, even better :) |
  yeah i understand her being worried...actually no not really i have talked to her 4 TIMES today she knows i was coming and wanted her. She knew i would not breed her and i was looking for a buddy.....this is what she said. "they had the money first". Yeah i bet shes real worried about that poor dog! sorry im not trying to be bitchy it just makes me mad!!! esecially when i talked to her just a little while before she sold her!!!! Thasnks for trying to make me feel better though. im not mad at any of you!! :) |
if she worried only about money, this is not a good way to sell any dogs  .I hope, the dog gone to a good home  I know how you feel. I was in almost the same situation twice, both times I cried :( |
I know how you feel. Everytime I get close to getting a yorkie, they are always sold before I can even get there. I am a little depressed right now. There was a man nearby whose yorkie was due November 22nd. And he was selling them for only $500. But, by the time I got his number and found out about him, he already had a long list of people interested in the puppies. We were at the bottom of the list. My mom called him the week the puppies were due to set up a time to meet. And to let him know we were still very interested. All we got was his answering machine and we left a message. That was over a week ago and he never returned our call. So, I know the pups got sold. Not that they are anywhere near ready to go to their new homes. But, he probably already promised them to other people or he would of returned our call. I found another breeder whose yorkie is due the last week of December. 4 puppies are expected. 1 is already sold to another lady. 1 she promised to her daughter. The other is going to the lady who owns the male stud. My only chance is the 4th puppy. And the lady on the phone said all 3 of these people want females! Her chances of having an all female litter is possible but very slim. I have one other breeder that my mom spoke to. Also only a 10-minute drive away. She has 4 litters due all in December. So, I guess she is my best chance. I think her first litter is due December 13th. The pups should be ready by Valentines Day she says. If I don't get this puppy, I don't what I will do. It is the holidays and my first Christmas in 13 years without my Lacey to share it with. I still have a hard time fighting back the tears sometimes. |
Below are my stories: The very first puppy I saw was from a very reputable show breeder from YTCA. I drove more that two hours to see that girl. Her dad was show dog, 4.3 lbs and mom was 6+. Puppy was perfectly fine, but... $1800 and I wanted a little bit smaller... I had a limit $1500. The owner didn't sell for $1500. I knew that nobody wanted that pup at that day, so I was sure nothing will change for next couple days. When I came back, I was regret that I didn't take that girl immediately. I went to Petco, bought a bed, food....So we decided to come back next day, but she was gone to another house. It was my first lesson. I cried like a child ;) . The second story. I waited for one litter from another VERY good breeder (YTCA). All his dog are show, he breeds for quality, not for money. He is really responsible breeder, he sent me a whole list with questions - he cares about future owners. He likes me, however he didn't have a waiting list. So when I called him on time, all pups were gone....... He lost some puppies, he said :( He was sad, me either. It took me many months to find my Jessica. I was very picky about the breeders, I contacted only reputable breeders. No internet sites, no shipping, ne pet stores, no laying (some breeders think people are idiots, they lie A LOT like "you know, yorkies standard is 12 pounds" :D ). finally my hubby said that this is TOO much, "bring something" :D . Come on, he said, you are looking for a pet, stop being so picky. Well, the next advertisement I saw looked fine to me. She gave heath quarantee, her house was clean, etc, etc. Something was a not good sign, but I believed what she told me, just believed. I brought my baby home. After a few months I found out from internet site and other people who is the lady I bought from -a puppy miller. Breeding for money ONLY. Many complaints, selling sick puppies, faked documents, etc, etc. Good new, yes?  I had a shock. But my girl is the best girl ever and I am very happy to have her. So..... You don't have be in rush. You will find your puppy :) . |
Thank You! The good thing is I have my little man and he's really all i need! :) ;) :D :D :D |
I hope she went to a good home. |
Well, obviously she had issues with the dog. Maybe behavior, training or such. I would definitely say her first concern was not the dog..but the money..shame on her. |
