| Is this just normal sibling drama? So my pups are super silly. One moment they are snuggling together and then the next they are at each other's throats growling and biting and even pulling out hair. It worried me that it was always Sadie attacking Bentley, but now I'm realizing he gives it out just as bad as he takes it. Is this just two bratty kids duking it out every now and then like kids do? No blood, no broken parts, just really rough fighting and barking, growling, and pulling each other around by their teeth. They look so nasty and mean when they get into these tifts but i just touch Sadie on the butt and she stops and pull them apart. Should I do something different or get used to these fights as part of life with a spayed bitch (with a capital B) and a neutered male? |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Mine do it all the time. They can be peacefully coexisting one second and then sound like they are about ready to kill each other the next. As long as you are able to get them to pay attention to you with a touch or a word (I can stick my face right up to Scarlett and she will lick me before going back to attacking Rhett), then I say let them play. They know how far they can go before it turns "real" . I know in our house, it lasts for a few minutes and then they are back to sleeping next to each other again.

| sounds like a normal day at our house too. So long as it stays "no blood, no broken parts" then let them have at it. They're having fun |

| Yeah; I think it is. One minute Lucy will be slinking around Ringo like she's terrified of him. The next she will be mercilessly pawing at his face and juking all around him trying to get him to play. She's funny; she stretches her front legs alll the way out all around his face. He'll just put his face down to avoid the bombardment. She insists on leading on all walks - though Ringo is clearly the Alpha Dog. She will NOT eat her food until Ringo is finished with his; then she makes a beeline to her dish to be sure that he cannot get any. She hoards all the toys - somwhere; I haven't figure out where. But when she finally succeeds in pi$$ing him off - then she squeals like a banshee. So far, this has been very successful for her.

| My two usually adore each other- they lay together, play together, lick each other and then out of nowhere they will get into a fight. Sometimes I end up having to separate them for a few hours. I think it is part of having multiples. I have had trainers here and they don't see anything wrong with their interactions so I just live with it.

| Maizey and Mac (they're brother and sister Cairn Terriers) can be best friends one minute, and then the next snarling and at each other's throats. But at the end of the day, they're best friends and they need to know where each other are 24/7. Maizey is dominant so she's usually the instagator, however Mac can handle himself and sometimes is just so overbearring. On that note, I use to bite, growl, and pull my brother's hair out all that time!

| Sounds like you got your answer, OP! Mine do it too, snarl and fight then it's naptime I have put my hand between them when they are fighting and they just look at me like I'm spoiling their fun! Weird. Gotta love a yorkie! |

| Mine do the same. I call them gremlins when they are playing and playing hard! They are so funny. Max is usually attacking Abby on her back, but then she turns around and grabs his ear. As soon as I move to interrupt them, they just look at me as is to say, "What, we are just having fun?" Yet they peacefully "trade" their chew bones 3-4 times before they settle down and realize they have the same thing. Yorkies are sooo funny. |

| They are just playing. some play harder than others. I know Rocco and Dottie just about tear up the place when they are playing then when they are finished they snuggle in the same bed lying on top of each other snoozing. they look like little angels
