This is funny.. One of my friends called my baby an oversized rat when she 1st saw her, Chloe was 8 weeks then, but now she don't look like a rat at all!! And my friend thinks she is the most adorable furbaby on the planet!! ;)

I think your babies are absolutely adorable! Lucy has more of the 'fox face' and I think when the hair around her face starts getting long and straggly; it makes her nose look even longer.

As long as I keep the hair around her face short - I think she's adorable too.

I agree the right hairstyle can do wonders! For humans and dogs :p

Zach has a pointed nose and big ears. My friend says he looks like a bat not a rat. Then again she says my shorkie Zoe looks like a warewolf.

Ty they are perfect in our eyes too! We love providing good homes for our Yorkie puppies. Alice and Ray are great parents to our 2 babies.

My Chachi has the more foxy nose and jewels has the more button nose. I like the smaller nose better but Ive seen some so small they look smushed and I dont like that look

So what do you think the "baby doll" face is? In between the fox and teddy?
Whatever it is, they're all cute as can be. Is funny the differences, we called Uno our "donkey" because of his ears...Bat might have been better!:)

Well, I do have a SHih Tzu and her face is smooshed in .... That is how the AKC standard is for that breed, and she is the one who has the reverse sneezing and sometimes Snorts ..
My yorkie's do not have that look , and they do not have problems like my shih tzu. Although some yorkies can suffer from the same thing as a shih tzu does.
Both of my yorkie's seem pretty normal faces to me. Nobody has mistaken them for a rat or anything. Not a fox like face . Just the average looking type. Only thing is that Suzi is darker colored . That makes her not up to the standard look. But, we love her dearly no matter what. :animal-pa

I've always called Betty Boop my little pointy nosed baby. I use that as a term of endearment. I never thought I could love a dog whose nose stuck out past their eyeballs. I used to raise English Bulldogs.:D She's my first little pointy nosed dog and I'm so in love with her and I think she is p-e-r-f-e-c-t!!:D

I don't think any of the yorkies pictured so far in this thread have what I call "pointy noses." They all look great! The ones I call pointy are the ones where the whole snout is pointed so it looks like someone slipped a chihuahua in somewhere along the family tree. I think that was done in a lot of unscrupulous breedings when the greeders were looking for the big bucks. I am only explaining this as I have previously mentioned pointy noises when describing what features NOT to breed. I don't want to ever offend a pet owner as I agree wholeheartedly with Nancy's QUOTABLE QUOTE of the week which I bolded, underlined, enlarged and colored pink above! :D Can you tell I liked it?
