How do you and your furbaby start your day?
 

We go out to potty and then Kacee has her breakfast. This is only on weekends, but she immediately wants to go for her first walk of the day, so that is what we do! Then later in the afternoon, we take another walk. I think walking is her favorite thing to do anyway. Or should I call it sniffing?:D

We have the same routine.
1. Maddie barks about 5:45ish to wake me up.
2. The girls stop by the bathroom with me to let mommy potty ;) then we go outside.
3.They come back in and always run to the food bowls, even though I never feed them immediatly.
4. They wrestle and play until I am ready to leave for work.
5. THEN, they have their breakfast while I get my things together.
6. Cooper immediatly goes to her crate and lays down for her 7 hour nap ;) and Maddie returns to the bed for her 7 hour nap.
7. Mommy and Daddy go to work to make money for the babies. :)

Well, on weekends Rizzo wakes me up by stretching his little paws across my belly to get a really good stretch. If I don't immediately get to his bidding he starts to wrestle with whatever appendage is hanging out of the blanket, be it arm, leg or face. Then we get up, I let him outside he does his business and e play chase around the yard for 15 mins because I'm lazy in the mornings. Then we do breakfast and we hit the dog park which is usually empty which works for Rizzo, gives him more room to run. Running is his favorite :D

During the week...Riley starts whimpering around 6am.... I reach over and open up the door to his x-pen and put my hand under his belly and lift him up to my bed.
He lays on my stomach/chest....and I wrap the blanket around him. We both yawn and give each other kisses.... until we are ready to get up and go potty. Then it is time for breakfast.

On the weekends though, I will usually get up, take him out at that time to go potty and then put him back in his x-pen for another hour or two.

My two definitely have their routines, and they don't like changing them on weekends for me. Usually my alarm clock goes off at 6:20 am and I push the snooze button once. Once my alarm clock goes off that second time, they are moving around and wanting to go outside.

When I get up, I immediately let them outside (we are trying to reinforce good potty habits) and then I run to the washroom. Within 2-3 minutes, they bark at the door and are let inside. Then I take my shower. Couver likes to lay on the warm air vent on the floor while I shower and Khloe likes to lay on the rug just outside the shower to wait for me.

They know once I'm done with my shower, they are fed. They then eat their breakfast in the kitchen and I immediately let them outside to do their business. Within a couple of minutes, they are let back inside and they join me in the changing room to get ready.

I then go eat breakfast in the living room and they join me. After breakfast, I grab them each a small treat and lead them upstairs to their room for the day. They always get excited for their treat and race up the stairs. While I'm at school, they spend their day in a room built for doggy kings with lots of blankets, their huge kennel, lots of water and plenty of fun toys.

During the weekend, they spend the entire day with me running errands and going to the park.

Haha I have a late riser compared to your babies, I get up around 9... if my snooze goes off he starts wimpering to say, "hey mom you already snoozed, now I'm hungry...." as for the rest of the routine, well we haven't figured that out yet, cause we're repotty training... well we're trying at least, cause for some reason we're having troubles...

We have the same routine every day. Wake up and run for the bathroom, where T's potty pad is.

Then we get T's breakfast and have a good hour of quality time - playing fetch, exploring, or sometimes just lap time. I have a big comfy cushion I put down so I can get down on the floor with her.

Then I get dressed while she plays... Sometimes she helps but I'm trying to teach her not to because I don't want what's so cute now to become an annoyance when I don't have time some day. One more potty time then it's time to get on with the day. I think this is my favorite part of the day now.

Here is a run down of a typical day with me and Sophie Kate

1. Between 5:50 am and 6:00 am Sophie Kate will start walking on my back, I pretend to ignore her until she worms her head under my arm and gives me a kiss.

2. I pretend to still sleep, she continues to tap dance on my back, I give up and get up.

3. Harness on we head outside for a potty break, task completed Sophie Kate will sniff the ground for another 15 minutes pretending she still has to go.

4. I finally give up and tell her to "come on", Sophie Kate then hits the sidewalk and decides it is time for our morning "run" back to the house.

6. After our walk we go inside where she promptly offers the cat a good morning kiss while I prepare their breakfast.

7. I get in the shower while the animals are eating only to get out and find both of them BACK IN BED while I am ready for the day.

This has been our routine for 2.5 years, I don't see it ever changing. My days of sleeping in are over but I would not trade it for the world.

Our morning routine:

1. Levi wakes me up at about 6:29 AM (one minute before my alarm goes off) by lick, lick, licking my face.
2. We go outside for a quick potty break.
3. Levi RUNS inside, knowing that next on the agenda is breakfast.
4. After breakfast, he finds something to play with, like my socks that I leave lying by the bed.
5. While I get ready for work/class, he takes a little nap.
6. Another quick potty trip outside, then a treat, and I leave for the morning.

The same thing, every single morning - except on weekends when we go back to bed after his breakfast! :)

My sisters alarm wakes me up at 6am and As soon as i open my eyes Gatsby starts whining so we get up go into first my brothers room then my sisters and open the curtains.
Gatsby and i go outside for him to potty then by the time we come in the kids are getting dressed i put heat up Gatsby's breakfast and put it down then i do ours by this time the kids have wondered into the kitchen to eat
when i am done eating gatsby and i head to the dining room or better known as the kitty room to feed the cats we Gatsby hovers near my feet so if i drop one tiny piece of cat food he can gobble it down
then Gatsby and i get dressed and we all get into the car first is Kodi at the elementary school then Marsha at the high school then i drop Gatsby off at daycare and head to work

Sammy and I start our day with a great big hug and kiss!!!!

The first things we do is potty and breakfast.

On work days my alarm goes off at 6:36, i hit the snooze button, then get up at 6:45 when it goes off again. I stumble off to the bathroom to shower while morgan stays in bed to sleep some more. After showering i go back to my room to get dressed then head upstairs to grab breakfast. At this point Morgan follows me upstairs and runs to find grandpa so he can take her outside (she has him so well trained. he's retired now so he takes her out while i get read for work and he takes her out during the day whenever she wants). I eat breakfast and then finish getting ready for work. When i finally go back upstairs to make tea to bring to work Morgan starts shadowing me. She follows me back downstairs and stands by her carrier to see if i'm going to take her with me that day. its so cute and sometimes very hard to say no.

On non work days morgan stays in bed with me until i decide to get up whether it be 8, 9, 10 or even 12 o'clock. If she hears someone upstairs and she has to really go potty she will run to the top and whine until grandpa opens the door. :rolleyes:

Going out to potty is always first thing to start the day. :)

I have the perfect baby for my lifestyle! I love sleeping in and so does he! And as an added bonus, he is such a cuddlebug in the morning. The first half hour we're awake is the only time I get good quality cuddle time. :D

Wake up about 6-7am ish. He does not bother me while I sleep. He allows me to sleep (but likes to run in circles) and I try to sleep as long as possible before I worry about him having an accident in the house.

I go potty, then Tommy goes out to Potty. When we get in, he has his breakfast. We mostly lounge all day. Go for walks every 3-4hrs. When I go to work (evening) he has one more walk from me

I wake up at 6.45am and take my boyfriend to work.
I get home around 7.00am and let Poppy out for potty time.
After potty time we go straight back to bed and wake up again at 8.30am.
Poppy again goes straight out for potty time.
I make our breakfasts and we watch some TV, we then play until 9.30am.
Poppy goes potty again at 9.30am then goes into her crate for a nap while I get ready for work.
at 10.40am Poppy goes out to potty again, then I leave for work.

Mine start "thier" day by licking me in the face telling me to get up, they want their bacon and eggs (I fantasize that they fantasize about their food since it is always the same). Then, they go potty, come back in and crawl back under the covers (when it's cold) and watch me get ready for work. But they LOVE Saturday mornings because we all get up, get ready, then they get a car ride to Sonic! and they get a treat there. Both my girls (skin kids, LOL) worked there so they know us well and spoil the dogs. :D

Troy will walk on my back when it's time to get up to go potty. Usually this is around 6:30 if I'm not already up. Out the door we go...I get dressed,he goes in crate...I'm off to work by 7:30.

M-F I work, alarm clock goes off at 530am...I hit the snooze...before the clock goes off again Bella is standing on my chest licking me all over my face, there is no hiding from it lol...We get up go down stairs...I open the slider up she goes out and does her biz....while I go and do mine:D

Than I feed her and the kitties. I make my coffee...we than go back outside to the patio...she makes her rounds in the yard (I think she is checking to make sure all her chewies she buried are still there:D) Than we head back upstairs where I try to make the bed:rolleyes: can't keep Bella out of it. I get showered and dressed for work...I tell Bella its time for work lets go bye bye and she get her leash and harness and out the door we go.

Now on the weekends we don't have to get up as early, we do sleep in but by 730 or 8am Bella is waking me or hubby up with her sweet Yorkie kisses saying I gotta go I gotta go get up.

We go for our potty walk, and then play a little fetch.

I wake up between 6 and 6:30 depending how many times I hit the snooze button. Taycie will either sleep next to me or crawl on top of my legs and sleep there. When I am awake, I whisper,"Taycie... She goes crazy! Licks my face my neck! It's so cute. Then I go to the bathroom brush my teeth get dressed and we go for our morning walk. She does her thing... and we walk home and get ready for work. I get in the shower and she eats her breakfast while I shower and get ready. Then Taycie Gets her teeth brushed, face washed, hair brushed, ponytail and her sweater and coat on because its cold! Then I pack her bag and we go to work together!

Between 7:00 and 7:15 it's "potty" time outside with mom or dad, then the other (mom or dad) starts the breakfast bowls.

Everyone comes in about 7:15ish.....and gets fed while mom and dad shower and get ready.

Then it's back outside for 15-20 mins.

Mom and dad leave and debate on the music selection for the day (mom likes country...dad likes techno)....and both believe that they kids also favor this preference. I just picture my babies boogying all day while we are out. :cool:

Weekends are the same...except it's an hour later....then depending on the schedule....it could be lounging in the living room and watching tv.
