| Culantro had one ear that fell down I think at 5 months too and I shaved both ears and put a tiny peace of Dr. Sholl's "mole skin" inside his ear for 5 days straight. I would not do it any longer. I changed the mole skin 2 times during that time and kept the area very clean and he was supervised at all times. Gave him a little extra yougurt and milk on his diet and the ear stayed up afterwards. It is a very delicate thing to do though, I've heard of dogs losing hair or with blood circulation problems if the ears are taped wrong. Culantro's ear with "mole skin" |

| My yorkie also has one up, one down, like some of the other people have said, and it, too, fits his personality! So funny how that happens ![]() He is over 3 years old, btw, so it's not going anywhere anymore

| I do know, sometimes dog's grow up only having one ear up, and the other down. My yorkie has her's down, and I never botherd to tape them, because she would probably get hurt. Shes like 8 months now, and there still down. Maybe ask a vet and here his concerns. I think it looks cute ! haha. But I hope nothing bad happenes, I don't think theres a problem with yorkies having this problem with there ears. There just prown to having ear mits. |

| Mylo had one ear up and one ear down when we got him at 14 weeks old. I taped both of them for a few hours on 2 days and they both stand up now even though he is still teething. Keeping the hair off the tip of the ear is very helpful... |

| Ya my baby also had one up and one down when she was about that age. I was worried too until I found out they do that when they are teething bc they don't feel good. Sure enough after all her baby teeth fell out her ears stood back up. I didn't tape. They will stand on their own. |

| Same thing happened to my Bentley when he was 3 1/2 months old. We had the hairs on his ears shaved and trimmed. It went up and down for a week and finally stood up after. By the way Candy looks cute!

| yes my baby has big ears too. they looked especially big when she was a baby and as she grew older she grew into them. i tried keeping the hair on the ears short too, so it wouldnt weigh them down. heres some pix of here when she was around 5 months old too with her ears down, and this is how she looks now... i was also concerned when she was little that she injured her ear or there was infection. but it was none of those.... teething is all. she had days when it would be up for awhile and go back down. i actually didnt take many pix of her when her ear was down bc i always tried to take them when it was standing up, so i hardly have any. but i wish i had taken more. its cute.... your baby wil go through many stages. take as many memories as u can. ![]() |
