My heart stopped beating after I read this post. Thank goodness it ended well. That was a frightening moment!!! I would have did the same thing.

No way!! you were in no way crazy for doing that. I do not believe i would have let a total stranger hold my baby at all.

Oh I feel for you, the panic you must have felt. Your quick reaction was the right thing. I have heard and seen stories on TV about them getting stolen. Small dogs are really popular now and especially a Yorkie. If anything, this is probably another good lesson for you and for all of us to remember. Thanks for sharing.

That is a great story! I remember when my little boy got lost in the store, and how frantic I was. Guess where I found him? In the back with the butchers weilding a big, big knife! They were all petrified. He was 2 at the time, and it scared the heck out of me. I think you gave us all a good lesson here. The squeeky wheel gets the grease!
