My "friend" just made me so angry!!! My friend told me about 2 weeks ago that her college age son's friend has a 5yr old yorkie pup she has to rehome. The girl is also a college kid and she has no time for the dog so she decided to give him away. I have 4 and I seriously don't want 5. Anyway she just texted me and asked if I wanted a 5yr old male (same one). I told her I didn't want it and if I took it she should make room for my dh in her house because he would leave me!! She texts me back and says, "the dog will be dead before you finish reading this text" WHAT????? I immediatly called her in a panic and asked if the dog was still alive. I was going to take him and foster him until I could find him a home. I couldn't bear to think of them putting him to sleep. She is hysterical laughing on the other end on the phone and saying to her family, "Oh she thought I was serious" What an idiot!!!! She knows how passionate I am about my babies and she would pull this on me I am fuming!!! |
Sounds so immature! Poor dog. Did you end up getting the dog? |
No I actually told her to call my sister-in-law, she has 2 females and was looking for another baby. Her girls are about the same age and this little guy. |
Wow, She sounds like a real jerk! |

Not only rude, but inconsiderate! Who would honestly joke about killing their own dog? Beyond sad! |
very creepy humor.......:( |
Well, it's a good thing the dog is out of her house!! |
I told her 2 weeks ago to come here and maybe post it. Maybe someone here could help. I don't know I just have to stay out of it. |
what a terrible person i just don't have words |
oh my that was not a funny joke! |

As it is my nerves are on edge. My daughter who turns 19 tomorrow is having surgery on Thursday to insert 2 tissue expanders on her knee. She had a very bad allergic reaction to a cortizine shot and her muscle under the skin was eaten away. She had a very major operation last November. She had a skin graft and now she is having these tissue expanders put in for a few months then the plastic surgeon can fix the graft and she will only have a fine line where the tissue meets. That wont be until about may or June. She is fine though and still continues to play college soccer but it was a very scary time for us. This should be the end of a long journey for us. She is very strong and just wants this part over so she can be ready for the soccer season. So my nerves are shot as it is and she pulls this on me. I would never say that to anyone, how scary that is to hear. I just couldn't dial the phone fast enough I wanted to save that baby.!!! I wish I could take him but I just cant. My babies are the world to me and for our family 4 in enough. Thanks for listening I knew you all here would understand how terrified I felt. |

Sorry your friend did that to you, some people just don't understand how you feel and speak or text before they think! I would of reacted the same way so I must be an idiot too  I will pray for your daughter that she has a successful surgery and recovery!! |
I see your in Long Island... if it doesnt work out with your sister in law... I could possible foster for awhile (as long as the pup is good with other dogs)... let me know if there is anything I can do... I would hate to see anything bad happen to this little guy. |

I found no humor in that at all! I will be praying for your daughter, you, and that little guy! |
Funny thing is it wasn't the kid who texted me it was a 49yr old woman. Aparantly the girl lives in New Jersey and goes to school here so that's how my friends son knows her. I honestly don't know details. She asked me twice and I said no twice, then she pulls this on me and thinks it's funny. She just thinks my babies and annoying little yappy ankle biters. I really don't know what happened with my sister in law, I haven't spoken to my friend since this happend last night. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers for my daughter. Today is her 19th birthday so she has a full day planned including a chocolate fondue for tonight!!! Yum!!! |
Wow, first of all, doesn't sound like much of a friend!!!! On a more happy note, happy birthday to your daughter!!! Chocolate fondue, yummy !!! :) |
Wow they have a word especially made for women like her that start with B!! It is a good thing she is rehomeing it if she can act that way about a pet. I would be fuming too!! |
Thats just incredibly immature and wrong, how can someone pull a joke like that? Jokes are supposed to be funny and the death of an innocent animal is NOT funny! I would've been panicked too had someone said that to me...just terrible. I hope someone took the poor thing, he needs a good home. And Happy Birthday to your daughter! |
Did she ever find a home for the pup? |
How sad and it shows the real value put on a animal in that home. I am sure she would never say that about her kid..but then again maybe she would.:( |
[QUOTE=spiritwings1202;3051485]Wow they have a word especially made for women like her that start with B!! QUOTE] my thoughts exactly!! that\'s very mean and NOT funny AT ALL!!:cry8: i hope they found a home for the doggy and a happy bday to ur daughter!! :bigbdaypa |
thank you very much. Yes they did find a home for him. Her neighbor took him. They have a nice backyard, and children for him to play with |
