pee pads and went outside as well. He started tearing up the pee pads so I quite using them. Now he just goes outside. Well the other dogs are out back which is no where near the bathroom he is gated in. I don't know about the cat. She was on the loveseat asleep for most of the am. I just don't know what his problem is. Except, I just thought of something. We have been having some mice problems in the walls. We have not seen any in the house but have heard them in the walls. We live out in the middle of nowhere. Mice and rats have been terrible in the fields this year. Could he have heard them in the wall. Do you think this would provoke him to do something like this??I am really trying to figure it all out because I need an excuse for dad when he gets home!!!!!!! |
:lightbulb :) I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's the mice. Yorkies are great little mousers you know, my Tori would try to dig through the fireplace wall when she smelled a mouse in there. He probably thinks he's just doing his job. I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions on how to stop him though except to get rid of the mice. Kathy |
I wouldn't at all be surprised if it were the mice in the walls!!! I had a Jack Russell who "told" us we had something in the attic (turned out to be a squirrel) - he would stand under the noise, jump up and bark. I guarentee you that if he were closed in a room and he heard that noise in the wall, he would have chewed COMPLETELY through the wall  I have no doubt. I bet that is exactly what is going on!!! |
Buy cheap, save a buck and get the plain old stick deodorant/antiperspirant. And you can use it on the walls, rugs, furniture, etc. I used it for my boys (saw it on You Good Dog You) and every one that has tried it says that it works! |

City girl, country dogs Well I live in an apt in the city of Anaheim, home of the world famous and playoff winners (ANGELS) against the Yankees(sorry had to get that in) and my boys have brought me twice, two live baby possums, a dead muddy rat and a live baby bird. Can you imagine if I did live in the country? LOL |
