| Oh you are so good to have taken Thumper in! I wish you could keep him, but in your situation it is completely understandable why you cannot. Plus it's always hard when the partner says uh uh... I know you will find a great home for the little one, and am guessing it will be someone who read your note! Keep us up to date please! Glad |

I'm so glad he is doing better. Maybe it will be good news and you will be able to keep him.

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | What a great story. I hope you can keep him, because you sound like a great Yorkie mom. I'd take him in a second if not for the long flight.

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | THIS is a GREAT Story and Thumper is just adorable and I think your daughter is totally beautiful - she is really precious ! You just turned into Thumpers angel - that was so awesome of you to do and whether he stays with you or finds a new home ...it sure looks like he'll be part of Yorkietalk because it looks like many people would take him in and give him a great loving home - what a great thing for your family to do - your hubby deserves a big hug for doing this too ! |

| I just read this whole thread and what a story!! That is so sweet of you to rescue Thumper. I feel so bad for him. He must be so stressed out right now-like- "what the heck is going on?" I am glad you are spoiling him and I am sure he will look and feel great after he gets back from the groomers!! |

| Wow.....I just read all this! What an amazing rescue story. In time Thumper will know that he's in a good place now. And I hope your husband changes his mind! If I weren't in TN I'd take him in a heartbeat. He's absolutely adorable. Good luck finding him a home and even more luck in keeping him! Seems like your daughter could be the convincing key.

| I still can't believe someone would sell such a cutie at a yard sale. I mean I never even considered an apartment that wouldn't take pets! |

| Hey there. What a great story... I'm so happy you got Thumper, he deserves a great home. I know Lexi would love a playmate (so i read from all her posts!) and I'm so happy! If something doesn't work out either your way or Elizabeth's, PLEASE let me know. I'm from Northeastern Ohio (Youngstown and I go to school at Kent) and we would love to have her. We've been looking for a playmate for Maggie for a couple months now and have been having a little difficulty. My cousin and I live together and she's dying to have a furbaby of her own. Maggie is spoiled rotten and just looooves us doting on her at every minute possible. Our only problem was that Jamie (my cousin) can't afford to put out $1000 right now. She's slowly saving up and hoping she can afford one by Christmas.. So, like i said.... if you're desperate or something doesn't work out PLEASE let us know. If you want more information you can PM me or email me Hope the little guy is doing better. ![]() -Sam

| Another Yorkie is saved! This is an amazing story! It's SO nice to hear about a Yorkie being saved by a wonderful family -- and Thumper is an adorable name! I really hope your hubby lets you keep him. He looks very attached to your cutie pie daughter. Good luck! I'd love to see pics of Thumper. Codie and Katie send him kisses!

| Question??? What did the breeder say about this? Normally they take the Yorkie's back and so I was wondering if your breeder, as Thumper comes from the same person as your Yorkie, is going to assist you in finding new placement for him??? I do wish you good luck on finding him a home and THANK YOU for rescuing what I am sure is sweet Yorkie babe! :-) |

| He is such a cutie! I am glad that things are going a little better for you. Maybe with a little time hubby will bond with him and you can keep him. Keep us posted on the out come of this. I live in Minnesota and know a couple who might be willing to drive to you if you can't keep him. But I have my figers crossed that you can keep him.
