Leaving my girls for 1st time! I'm so sad I am leaving early tomorrow morning for a road trip to Sedona, Az. and it is the first time I have left my girls. I am a nervous wreck. My husband hasn't been on a vacation in over 20 years because I would not leave my dog/dogs. My 23 year old dtr will be home with them when not at work and my nephew will be coming over during the day to feed them and play with them. Of course Cali and Roxie were sick earlier in the week. Roxie seems fine now and Cali is doing better. I think they will be fine since they are staying in their own home with my dtr. Please keep positive thought that they all do fine and we get safely back next week. Thanks |
Try to have a good time. I'm sure your daughter loves them as much as you do. I know how much your worried though. I have 3 kids in their 20's who stay with Roxie when we go away for a weekend. My 13 year old thinks I'm crazy because I will call specifically to see how Roxie is doing. Just make calls like I do to check in now and then so it will give you peace of mind enough to have a nice time. I would leave direct instructions though on them not giving any extra treats then what they are allowed to have since they have been sick. Anyway have a nice vacation! |
Thanks!! You should see the lists of instructions I have left!!! She does love then she is just on the lazy side and not in the habit of picking up her stuff and thinking about fans left on etc, because Mom is home to take care of it. I will be calling often. They are all on strict food diets due to Cali's many health issues. When you leave yours so they have any separation issues? |
I know how hard this is for you to leave them. I had to go away for a couple of days on business recently and I nearly drove myself (& everyone around me) bonkers worrying about my babies. When I finally got home, everyone was fine and we had such a great, happy reunion!! I just know your babies will be fine as well. I'll keep you in my prayers for a safe, fun vacation. And I'll pray for the safety & happiness of your girls also! Go, enjoy, come back with lots of wonderful stories!! :) |

I also understand the kids being on the lazy side when Mom's around. Right now I need a break from them all. |
Aw, Patti - I know how you feel, I have a terrible time leaving my boys. I'm soooo glad they're doing better, bc otherwise the worry would be a little much. You will LOVE Sedona, it's so beautiful, surreal, and peaceful. Have a great time! :) |
Hi Patti, I am sure your girls will do great and understand how you feel. We got south every year and I worry sick about leaving Kass home. She does fine after the first day where she doesn't eat. After that she settles into her routine and is happy to see us when we get home. Have a great time and try not to worry too much. |
Hope you having fun Patti:animal-pa I do understand you is so hard to leave them:( |
