| My only experience with a bike basket was not a good one. It wasn't specifically for pets--just a regular basket. We were camping and I thought I would take Lucy (RIP-my first yorkie) for a ride. I thought I had her secured BUT, she got frightened and jumped out of the basket--she was hanging by her neck. I was so scared!! Fortunately, I was able to safely stop and save her but I never tried it again. I think I would be ok with the 2 I have now but I am to chicken to give it another whorl with the basket that I have.

| well your story has convinced me to buy a basket made for the purpose of carrying a dog. I was going to try and be creative to save money. Thanks for sharing. I am sure she will love the ride. I live in a townhouse with lots of stairs and she loves being carried in a basket up and down. She is pretty fearless and just likes to be with me, so I am sure she is going to love it! |

| Twice a year our Mayor has a hike and bike event. I always run into this couple with their Yorkie in their bike basket at this event and other hike and bike events. Their Yorkie loves it. He growls and barks at Maxwell tho. I have thought about buying one myself, but I also need a new bike. |

| I would definitely go with a pet specific. I need a new bike and would definitely like to be able to take my "kids" for a ride with me. Mayzie would love it. We don't camp anymore though so I wouldn't have much of an opportunity to use it.

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | Next weekend Im getting one for my bike, can't wait. I know Tia will love it, as she loves to be carried around in her bag.Im sure it will save her little legs just a bit too as we walked 8 miles today and shes sleeping now across my arms as I type.

| bike basket I had a basket for my bike and i made a liner and have a strap over the top to attach to jj's halter. He loves to go for our rides in it. He stays pretty still in it too. |
