I sure do after what I just saw.
I am trying to contain myself and stop from crying.
I just came in from outside with Babybear. I must start by telling you all that he has been going outside to do his business for a little over a week now. Seeing the weather has been warmer and the snow is going away I have been able to get him out 4 to 5 times a day. Well it has helped him a great deal. This is great considering he has been wearing a diaper for almost three years. And last year when he had to have that pin removed from his neck from his AAI(Atlanoaxial Instability) surgery the surgeon said it has been over 2 years so do not plan on him walking again. Well you all know me I can not give up at all not when it comes to my little guy. And it paid off today when I took him out to do his thing. I let go of his sling and he took off. Well of course it was early morning and I had to get ready for work so I didn't have my camera with me so when I got home from work I took him out and he did it again. Again I did not have my camera. So after supper I took him out again but this time I took my camera with me. Sorry ladies I am still crying and everytime I watch these videos I cry some more.

I made Babybear's first cart when he was 2 months out from surgery(Oct 2006) he got his second cart the day before Thanksgiving 2006 then in August of 2007 he got his good cart that actaully helped him walk. Then last year he had the pin slip in his neck and needed surgery ASAP he had the surgery done that is when the surgeon told me not to expect him to walk because it has already been 2 years and no walking by then didn't look to promising. I took him to water therapy in August of 2008 and Melody(his water therapist) told me it looked like he depended on the chair to much and she thought he walked hunched up in it. She suggested for me to try one of her slings. SO I used it for a while till BB got is own sling and he did really good. Well that was until winter hit and he did not walk much after that. He did some in my house(which is not big at all) and at water therapy. Then we knew as soon as spring hit he would want to be outside. Well I have been walking him in his sling for over week now and yesterday the miracle happend.
