Yorkie Yakker | Peeing Dilema... My Max is 9 months old. My big little boy has started, a little while ago, lifting his leg to pee. I'm new to having a male dog. Most dogs that I've had have been female, so I'm having a bit of a problem and I don't know if he'll eventually fix it himself or if I'm supposed to do something about it. The problem is that whenever he lifts his leg up tp pee he ends up peeing on himself. His tummy has been having dry snd wet pee lately and it stinks. I'm not too sure if there is anythig I can do.. For those of you that have male dogs, Is Max going to eventually learn to have a better aim, or is there anything I can to to help

| Is Max neutered? He's probably marking/going to start marking if he's not. I'm not too sure about the aim problem! lol

| My boy is also 9 months old but still pees like a girl. I would have to think with time and practice your boy would get better aim. I don't know any adult males that still pee on themselves.

| Mine both have this problem.. shave his belly down and use wet wipes after he comes in... or a wash cloth...

Yorkie Yakker | Haha yeah true.. It'd be strange if he still peed on himself as an adult. I hope he gets better soon though

| I think it helps to cut the hair around his wee-wee and I always have wipes handy (close to the fireplace where it's warm...) |
