Update on Riley and TJ (Dog Park, Groomer, etc)
 

Wel, I haven't posted about my babies on YT in awhile, so I thought I would update everyone on all the fun things we have been doing!!
Last Sat., TJ was groomed. His coat is so much easier to take care of! He looks really cute, but the only bad thing is that the groomer cut off his "visor" so now he has no hair to put up in a bow and we can actually see his eyes!! I will post pics.
Last Sun.., my family and I took Riley and TJ on their first adventure to our local dog park. Most of the dogs there were big, but there were a few smaller dogs. Riley loves the big dogs and he isn't scared, but TJ was so afraid. When we first walked in, a big German Shepherd walked over to TJ. TJ was so scared so he laid down and rolled over on his back. The German Shepherd thought he was some kind of toy, so he started swatting him with his paws. POOR TJ!! So I picked him up and sat down at a picnic table. Riley played with the dogs. He made friends with a Papillon and some big dogs (like a MASTIFF :D ) TJ made one little friend that he wasn't horribly scared of. Her name was Molly and she was a LOT bigger than TJ, but she was very calm and lazy so they got along GREAT!! I will post pics here!
Wed. was Riley's 1st birthday!!! He got an extra long walk and we made his fav. dinner (Ham) He got new toys and it was really fun!!
Fri., we went to the park/beach and TJ and Riley made friends with a black toy poodle named Albert. He was just their size too!! Hopefully, we will have a playdate with him soon!
Today (Sat.) We went to the duck pond and Riley and TJ were so afraid of the ducks!! They met a Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab named Charlie.

Well, as you can see, Riley and TJ have been very busy lately and that's why we haven't been able to visit YT all week!!

quite the busy bunch. looks like a nice friendly group. i need to get my two out and about. we will wait for cooler weather tho. wouldn't it be nice if i could take them golfing? i am afraid ahia would fetch the ball tho. LOL

I agree with you LDenise - about the heat. I'm in Austin and it is almost too hot to go for even a short walk. I'll be so glad when it cools off! :)
