| New Mom Here! I am a brand new Yorkie owner. Best investment I have made in such a long time. People have always told me that kids never make a relationship better if its going bad...well how about having an ordinary relationship - not good or bad - just ordinary - turn extraordinary due to the overwhelming love and joy that this little amazing creature has brought us. Its amazing because I always felt animals this tiny were more so used for the accessory feature as opposed to being utilized as the loving family pet/companion but when my better half came home and had this little guy with him - that was it. All preconceived notions were throw out the window along with the cat (kidding - I dont own a cat). He came home and just immediately loved me and was so happy to have me that my life now is purely dedicated to making sure I get home safely everyday so my pup can love me. His name is Killer Beau-Jangles. We gave him the name killer because he is so hyper and rambunctious. He was bouncing off the walls for the first hour and a half so we turn around and said..."Take it easy Killer!" and right then and there...Killer came about. The Beau-Jangles part - its his naming from the breeder so we decided to keep it. I am still new to all of the Yorkie needs, etc. so any help, tips, advice, etc, will be greatly appreciated. |

| First, welcome to YT! Then, OMG he is soooo precious! Congratulations! I love those pics of him sleeping with daddy & sleeping in the car. The name's perfect, too. How old is Killer?

| Killer is just a week shy of 3 months. I have only had him for about 5 days. I tell you...everyday - another trait of his personality starts to arise and its the most amazing thing watch happen. He is starting to understand the difference between treats and food and its too funny. When he realizes that its a treat...he becomes a roly poly across the floor - weeble wobbling, rolling around, bouncing and squeaking at the treat before he devours it. My pup doesnt like the wet food - is this normal??? |

| Yeah I tried the wet food and he just wasnt impressed at all. I think it has to do with the texture of the food. Like mother like son. I cant eat tomatoes because I cant get past the texture of the food. However, even though killer has no clue what table food is - HE GOES BONKERS FOR IT. Doesnt matter if you are eating or just carry a bag of food in - HE SMELLS IT AND WANTS IT! Already begging! Also - Any recommendations about food other than the Royal Canin... Right now I am using Nutro and he is enjoying it but I think its too hard for his teeth (and its funny I say that because this pooch chews through EVERYTHING!!! - first night home - pair of Crocs - daddy's crocs - GONE!!!) The Nutro food I am giving him is an organic puppy formula for sensitive stomachs.

| Welcome to YT! Oh, I can only imagine when you meet people in the park with your boy and you tell them that this little guy's name is Killer -- hope he never gets away from you and you're yelling KILLER, KILLER - your neighbors will really wonder what is going on Sorry, couldn't help myself. Really we are glad to have you both here. You might want to try Innova for the small breed - this is an excellent food and the kibble is a nice size

| LOL!!!! You can tell you're in love. They are hard to resist. Kayla is now a year and a half. (daddy's little girl) and she can get into trouble and all she has to do is just look up at you and our hearts melt. They are sooooo sweet. Enjoy. |
