| CKC v. AKC I'm new to the whole Yorkie scene and was wondering the difference between CKC and AKC. My little guy is from Korea. I just bought him as a pet and didn't really care about his lineage. But he's turned out to be such a handsome little guy I was wondering if he was eligible for papers. Someone told me he could get CKC registered but not AKC. |

| The dogs parents have to be AKC registered in order to get an AKC registered puppy. |
