| Oh good for you Glad to hear you remembered who the owner was......ya know we all have to remember, that as sad as a rehoming is.....it was more important that the owner at least attempted to get them placed all this while battling lung cancer.......that is the sad thing......I lost my brother and FIL to lung cancer, people are unable to get around in the late stages......it is very bad. So glad to hear you saved the day! And let us all say a prayer for the owner of these little guys...... |

| At least they were not abused, just some neglect it looks like. Thankfully the Yorkie/Poo will find a wonderful and loving home, and maybe the adoptive parents will continue letting you take care of his hair. Maybe the other one still has an owner looking for it? It's such a wonderful feeling when your able to help our wayward babies. Bless you for the work you do for the rescue.

| ok...I have after pics! I am posting pics of the yorkie poo first. One of the pics is after his bath when he still had a 'fro. If he where my dog I would actually cut him a little shorter and do something shnauzerish with his face, but I figured whoever adopts him will have his hair cut the way they want it. He won't stand still to have his pic made so these aren't very good!

| This is the shihtzu. Bless his heart.... He was matted to the skin and had to be pretty much shaved. He was also soaked in urine. I washed my hands 5 times and then finally poured alcohol on them to get the smell off! I know that sounds gross, but this dog was in terrible condition. He was a owner surrender at animal control, but if I had my way they would be pressing cruelty charges. At least he is away from that bad situation now and can find a good home. I don't know how old he is. Just a total guess on my part, I would say between 3-5yrs old...but I really have no idea. He seems to have a really good temperment. He pretty much went thru hell today to be groomed and never tried to bite or growl or anything. I couldn't even tell for sure that he was a boy when I started on him.....I'm sorry this has kind of turned into a rant, but people who don't care for their dogs properly make me so mad!! This is him.

| OH!!!! I also think that I forgot to tell ya'll that the yorkie-poo's name is Max. I am gonna post them on the rescue page also... As I said before our shelter's adoption fee is only $45 and that covers everything except heart worm check. It covers all shots, worming, and neuter!
