:(:(:(:cry2: I wish to thank all of you for helping me through this painful time. Today is the day that I had to call the Vet for my Queenie, she just does not have the quality of life anymore I can see it in her eyes:( I have a few more hours with her till it's time but I'm having a hard time with this I don't want to upset my son to much. Thank you all, I know all of you understand.

Thank you, I just hope I can do it, my appointment is this afternoon why didn't the vet let me come in this morning when I called?? I just can't stop crying. I can see it in her eyes that it's time I hope I can do it.

We had to put our almost 16 year old Chihuahua down last Sept. after she had a stroke and didn't recover. I know what your feeling and I'm so very sorry. Prayers and hugs coming your way. :hands::hug:

As you take Queenie in today remember all the good times that you shared. You are going to be very upset however now it is imperative that you take care of yourself. Be very gentle with yourself and just breath. Each step closer to the door is going to bring more anxiety so just stay in the moment. Know that you are doing a humane thing and not being selfish. We all human and animal alike will have to go thru this journey and as scarey as it is it will humble you. Trust in what every you believe in and know you can do this. It will be hard but life throws us hard balls that we don't want to catch but somehow we do. As I pray for queenie I pray for you. Be blessed.....

My heart is breaking for you. I also have done this many times and it is one of the hardest things for you to do, but, remember that you are doing the kindest thing you can do for a pet that you love so much! Be strong!

Sending big hugs your way. It is never easy to let a loved one go. Just remember all the joy you two shared and hopefully those memories will comfort you. Your Queenie will be whole and young again. :(

I just wanted to add that all 4 of my babies that I took to the vet for the final time were very peaceful the whole time. I think they knew and were greatful to be released from pain and illness. My husband told me that he once had a dog who 'shook' in fear every time he took her to the vet except for that final visit. She was calm and peaceful. I hope this gives you some comfort.

I've been there too. :( I feel so bad for you right now. As other's have said, it is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. You are doing the right thing by Queenie. If she could talk, I'm sure she would say, "Thank You" for letting her go and no longer having her suffer. Hugs to you. :love-hug3

It's never easy to lose a beloved pet. Hold Queenie gently and tell her
how much you love her. It only takes a second and she will no longer
be in pain but once again happy, healthy and playing at Rainbow Bridge.
I do believe it's more painful for us who are left behind to grieve but
remember all the memories the two of you made over the years and I
hope you find comfort in thinking about them.
I have been there three times over many years and it's never easier.
Know in your heart your doing the right thing.
I am so very sorry.

I'm so sorry for you and your family with what lays ahead. As you take Queenie to the Vets remember all the fun times you had together and that she understands that you love her soo much. My Queenie is now in heaven :( The vet told me it was time. She was in my arms till the end. It's a hard day but all of you helped me at a time that was so hard, so all I can say is thank you and god bless you all.
