| smelly ears I was wondering if anyone else has a problem with their yorkies ears smelling bad. I give Maddie a bath 2 times per week and they continue to smell. The last time she went to the groomer I expressed my concern and she cleaned them and she said they didn't look liked they needed to be checked by a vet. After seeing the groomer the ears didn't smell bad for a couple weeks. Should I be cleaning the inside of her ears? I am worried that I will hurt her. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | As long as you feel that she does not need to be seen by the vet you could clean them yourself. After baths I use Ear Care Formula by HealthyPetNet. Ear Care Formula Really Works! Cleans ears and eliminates odor. Dissolves ear wax. Removes dirt and debris. Soothes like only aloe vera can. Contains no alcohol and will not sting. Leaves ears dry, which keeps nasty ear debris at bay. Safe and gentle enough for puppies and kittens. Ear Care Formula contains a special botanical blend and gentle cleansers specifically developed to keep your pet’s ear's healthy. I sell this product now and you can find it on my website in my siggy. I really like it, its made a big difference in smelly ears |

| I use a product similar to what Breny uses. It really works great. Make sure you really rub the base of their ear - you will hear a kind of swooshing sound - so that it does the job. My Kalina is a digger and she gets dirt in her ears and seems prone to ear infections, so I use that stuff all the time and it really helps!! Also, sometimes they can have an ear infection that doesn't cause them pain right away. Does she rub her ears on the floor?
