Two ways to geolocate your pet. 2New gadgets selling by March this year! I know some of you have seen the GPS locaters for kids such as in watches and stuff. There are two new GPS gadgets that will be shipping by March this year. You put it on the collar .It's the size of a small car remote. The second one I like better because it's smaller and cheaper also. Both have internet access plus you can call and they will give you location as your pet moves. One has a hefty price of $199 and a $15 monthly fee. The second one comes out in march and it's $129 and will be less than $15 amonth. Check out the link > http://tech.msn.com/guides/ces/artic...5953>1=10839 If the link doesn't work go to msn.com and do a search for : Two ways to Geolocate your Dog. Personally I will wait until the price comes down since this is a new product. I do want to get it for my yorkies The company was called and asked if you can use this with kids and they said it works where ever you put it,it will track it. I can imagine some people will sneak this to their teenagers or husband's car lol. I think it's a good idea for pets to be able to find them immediately . Genie,Cookie,Lola & Angel |
If this works the way it's suppose to, I will be the first one on line to buy 3 !!! |
good idea but what about those people who know about it and take it off the dogs neck,or just take it off not to have any identifying things on them???.then you will only be able to find out where they were when it was removed.I don't know guys................. |
will bookmark it for hubby though:lol tears :lol tears :lol tears |

I know what you mean. I only have collars on mine while I am home which is most of the time. At any time that mine are roaming the house, I always try to put the collars on just in case if "grandma opens the sliding door and accidently let's one out" It's happened! In fact several times :( She doesn't live with us but comes for vacation once a year and she is not aware how fast a little dog can run outside. I have found my furbaby scratching the sliding door looking tired and dirty.Trying to get back in. I flipped out because I was thinking that they could have slipped through a crack in the wood fence we have. If your pet runs away and someone takes it chances are that the person doesn't know that this is a GPS/tracking device. Or at least throws it in their house or garbage and you can find your dog asap.I don't know, I guess I'm paranoid . Genie Cookie Lola Angel |
