OMG, that is SO scary! So they actually broke into your house? Poor you and poor Bella, she must be a little traumatized! Thank God some honest person found her and called you! I just can't believe what some people would do, especially at this time of year...

OMG I can't imagine what a shock that call was. That is unbelievable! If only Bella could tell you what happened. Thank God she is safe and sound and home with you where she belongs. It is so heartwarming to know there is another person out there with a big enough heart to do the right thing- especially since she wants a yorkie.

Yes Both she and her husband/friend were wonderful! I just wish I could have gotten more information.
I was just in so much shock!
I cried all the way home.

Bella had a big warm bowl of honest kitchen, had a warm lavender spa bath and played outside for awhile and now she is wiped out.

I cant stop looking at her.
My daughter was shocked when i picked her up from work

Here are a few pics of my sweet angel.
One is after her bath laying in the sun...she is so happy to be home.
I wish she could tell me too what happened
the other two are getting ready for her nap!

I am so glad that this story has a happy ending. I can tell you right now that Murfee is going to start wearing his collar and id ALL the time now. He usually doesn't wear it at home. I don't know what I would do if that happened. Thank you God for that sweet girl.

i have one that is like a dog tag you know with a bathtub like chain. the groomers cant get it off... so it never comes off!!! i am so grateful that its hard to get off!!!
i recommend everyone getting it.. i am also calling home again to make sure her chip infor is up todate on monday!!!!!!!!!!

OMG I couldn't believe it when I saw this thread...I'm so glad you got her back! That is terrifying! I'm always scared someone will break into my house and steal Lacy. People can be so aweful!

When I saw this thread, my heart just dropped to my toes! I'm so thankful for the sweetheart who returned Bella.

I am so happy and relieved you got her back. A surveillance system will not help much. It will only show you the person who takes her next time, but you will not know who it is or where they've taken her. You have a second chance here, and you must figure out a way of preventing anyone from being able to take her out of your yard again. A gate lock can be easily broken, so it is not a complete solution for when you are away, but it is a first step. It will buy you time if you hear someone trying to break in while you're home. It's just another line of defense and could prevent someone from scooping her out of the yard or trying to break in your back door. You don't know if the person who took her will come back for her. Is Bella trained to pee pads? It would be best to let her use them while you are away from the house. She is so precious. You don't want to lose her again.

Bella only uses pee pads when it is raining.
I could use them for awhile until I decide what to do.
We have a 6 foot wooden fence. No one can see in our yard.
I think the lock will help. my neighbors on both sides are aware now.
the one girl next door has a yorkie too. She remembers Milo barking like crazy around 11 am. So i am sure he heard something. she will look next time he barks.
I think camera's might be a deterrent though. At least make someone think twice ..or slow them down.
I have a flat screen TV on my lanai..and a huge flat screen just inside my living room. YOU can see it thru the sliding glass door cus i dont have curtains. Nothing was touched. I am almost wondering if Bella got out somehow and someone picked her up

Totally agree..you have been given a second chance to be her mommy. Close the doggie door and have her use pee pads.

All this babie steeling i been seeing on here lately has gotten me all shaken up in side.. It aggervates me that people would do such a thing at all!! Thos are the type of people who don't realize theses lil fury babies are not just dogs!! There our sons and daughters and our babies!!!

I do thank god there are some nice people in this world left.. I hope god blesses her with wonderful things for doing such a wonderful deed!!!

My 17 yr old just told me she most likely left the gate open!!!!!!!!!!! I am seeing some kinda red!!!!


That means Bella JUST WALKED OUT ON HER OWN!!!!!! And someone must have picked her up!!!

Makes sense why they didnt take anything else!!

I'm just now seeing this and OMG I am sooo glad that the girl was kind enough to give Bella back to you and she is home safe and sound with you. K - take a deep breath and don't be too hard on your daughter...things happen....just lucky that today everything worked out for you. ;)
