Sand-Resistant Beach Toys?
We just returned from the beach and had a traumatic experience. Long story short, after playing fetch for 2 days we ended up with a sand impaction. The sand stuck to Joey's ball and he accidentally ingested it causing blockage.
Question is- can any recommend small dog balls that are sand-repellant? Joey LOVES to play on the beach, so if there's a safe option- we'd love to continue doing so from time to time.
Otherwise- it looks like no more fetch on the beach for my little guy...

I cannot think of anything that sand won't stick to, especially once a little dog saliva gets on it. I hope Joey is OK

Poor Joey, who would have thought, thank goodness lil Joey is ok. I use to play Frisbee (plastic) with my now passed girl on sandy beach, she never ingested sand. Sand sticks to just about everything. Hope someone has some suggestions I am clueless.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I do not take my three outside to play unless it is in our screened pool area, so I don't have any suggestions, but I hope you find some safe play objects for your adorable little man!
