| I think it would be great but am very wary of a dogpark with our tiny babies. My sister's Yorkie was attacked by a huge German Shepherd.... in dogparks there are just way too many large dogs that can threaten their safety. I still think that just a regular old park, with lots of grass for our Yorkies to dash around in, would be a lot safer ....less doggie related diseases too. What do y'll think?? There is a huge park near me, called the Yorba Regional Park; lots of parking space, tons of grassy areas, play areas for kids, and above all, very safe. It's on La Palm Ave between Imperial Hwy and Yorba Linda Blv. |

| I agree with LaurenR. Dog parks make me really nervous because of the larger dogs. The Yorba Linda Regional Park sounds great! It'd be fun to meet all of you!!! Barring any emergency (knock on wood) count on my being there! Quote:

| I think I can make it, too! Unless my daughter's Water Polo schedule changes, I'm there. What do you think we should all bring, sweet stuff only or real food? |

| Great! Great! I can totally make it!!Saturday the 28th at 1:00pm at the Yorba Regional Park. It's actually in Anaheim on La Palma Ave, like I said, between Imperial Hwy and Yorba Linda Blvd. If one was coming eastbound on the 91 Fwy from the direction of Fullerton, you would take the Imperial Hwy exit; turn left onto Imperial; turn right on La Palma; pass the car wash on your right (less than a quarter mile down); the driveway into the park is on the right-hand side of the road, very soon after. I will see if I can find a map and post it.Can't wait to meet you guys and see our babies |

| Your dog parks in LA are not sectioned off into small, medium and large dogs?

| The dog park where my sister's Yorkie was attacked, was just one large area for all breeds. I actually discussed it with my Vet this morning, when Mango was having the last of her shots (YooHoo!! poor baby hates them), and he said he disliked dog parks for small breeds like Yorkie, just for the disease factor alone. |

The other day I was at a pet store, where there was a Poodle puppy the same age as Mango (5 months). It nearly broke my heart to so how excited Mango got when it started bouncing around next to her, wanting to play. She just never gets that at home with my precious, but ancient Spanky. It was just soooooo adorable to see these two crazy little puppies playing together. Hope to see you there!!! | |

| NOTE TO ALL: I am going to drive past the park in the next few days and note the location of the nearest cross street to the parking lot and location we should meet. There are several driveways into the park, but I think only one that is not gated and accessible to all. It would be simply tooooo dreadful for words if we all ended up wondering around, confused Yorkies in tow, and could not find each other |
