| Update on Lancaster Bark at the Park I've been very busy helping with the planning of this year's Bark at the Park, but wanted to update you Southern Californians, and again, extend an invitation to attend. The date is October 7th, from 10 to 5 pm. We've got lots of great prizes, as well as raffle and auction items. And, new things are coming in daily. Of interest to you, might be a brand new [COLOR="Pet Stroller, Dream Car Beds (cute!!!), a two-day stay at the Miracle Springs Resort and spa in Palm Springs, and lots and lots of themed-baskets with everything from grooming products, treats, toys, to gift certificates and amusement passes. Items will begin to be added to the website this week, so check back often. www.lancasterbarkatthepark.org . There will be a fashion parade with prizes, and the Man's Best Friends Contests, with prizes for Best Trick, Lookalike (dog and owner), Best Singing Dog, Best Dressed, and Best Human Barker. Now I think a Yorkie really ought to win in the fashion parade, and at least the Best Dressed. Don'tcha think? And the prizes this year are really great! Huge baskets filled with treats, toys, and some surprises, too. Janet and I, [COLOR="darkorchid"]Yorkie Palsare going to host a yorkie meetup that day, and we'll have some raffles and goodies just for showing up. Exact time and location will be posted as soon as times for the other events are known. We're hoping to see a lot of you and your furry friends attend. This is going to be a great event! If you have any questions, or would like to contact me, you can email me at KathyBATP@aol.com. And, remember to check out the website often! www.barkatthepark.org Woof!
