| You can do a google search for dog mucus plug pictures and there are lots of them on the internet. Pregnant females always have a mucus discharge before having pups. It just gets heavier when they get closer to delivery. Can you tell if the pups have dropped? Normally the pups are carried higher up and a day or so before deliver the pups will drop. It is usually noticeable because the dams body shape will change.

| Hi, yep that looks like what she has!! Poppy keeps having a big blob hanging down.. She can't reach around to clean herself so I've just been keeping check and cleaning her. The amount is unbelievable. Not really sure if the pups have dropped? Her belly does looks lower.. Not a huge amount though? I really don't think it'll be too long before her labour starts. She just seems so different today. She still doesn't have any milk and her temp is up and down. The highest it's been is 99.8 & the lowest is 98. It was 99.8 about 5pm.. It's now 98.6. I wish I could upload photos? |

| Since this is just day 57 for her I imagine she as a few days left to go. How many times was she bred and on what days of her heat cycle was she bred?
