Her temp is still a little high, but I usually don't take temps anymore, unless I'm looking for an infection or low calcium, which I'm actually looking for high temps if there is a problem. Using temps for whelping drives me crazy.. so I just don't do it. Almost all my girls whelp at 61 days. It's much more of a guide for me than temps. She will dig, get nervous, usually shake like she's scared or cold, and not eat. Good luck with a successful whelp. |
How is the pup doing? How are you doing? |
Wishing her a smooth whelp and healthy pups. |

You cant always depend on this temp thing...I have had ladies whose temps never wavered....and I do temp checks twice a day, waiting for that spike and drop. I still do the temps......habit, I guess....but I do not use temps to determine when she will whelp. I use other cues.....and I follow established patterns set by each female with prior whelps. |
How is she doing? I pray all is going well. |
All the best with your lady and her pup(s):) |
any pups yet? Hope all is well....... |
