Crazy neighbor lady.....

So guys I have a problem.... My crazy neighbor lady has a DH that has a female Yorkie that she back yard breeds... Well she told her DH about my Tibbers... So she ask me of I would let Tibbs ya know with her dog and I could have first pick of the litter  Well I told her that for 1 Tibbs was only 20 weeks old and that he was not breeding quality and he was going to get fixed as soon as the vet gives the ok... So I basically told her no nicely....or so I thought.... We recently fenced in our yard so the dogs could go out to play on sunny days and I would not have to have them on the leash.... Well I let Tibbs out to play today and about 20 mins later I heard a commotion outside and there she was that lady's dog in my fenced in yard and the owner sitting on the porch like nothing was happening .... WTH really so I ask her what was her dog doing in my yard and she told me she had put her in there to try it anyways......I was sooo mad :mad::mad: I told her to get her dog a leave my property .. She smiled and said "they have already done the deed anyway...." OMG.... This cant be true can it?? Tibbs is too young or so I thought I thought they had to be at least 7 months to breed.... Any advice?? Sorry I just had to vent!!! I can not believe some people!

That is crazy! I would contact the police about that, she is scary. Maybe a restraining order saying she can't come onto your property? Her dog could possibly give your dog brucellosis, a canine STD.

It takes dogs quite a while to "tie" so if you caught her quickly I expect she was lying about them having done the deed.

OMG this freaks me out!!!! Can he die of this??? I am not a breeder and do not plan to be !!! I had to bath him because he stunk! He was only out there for 20 mins 30 mis top! Should I take him to the vet??? I don't want him to get sick! I called the police and they told me to call AC and report her if she was not on my property than it wasn't technically trespassing. AC is closed until in the morning. So Im gonna call them and report her. IDK what good it will do.

I know nothing about canine STDs, but I personally would probably treat it like unprotected intercourse between two ppl and call the vet to have him examined and tested (if they perform tests for it). That way the incident is documented. I would also call AC in the morning.

roseylovestosho 08-22-2011 05:34 PM

THAT IS AWFUL:eek: I really don't know anything about dog STD's (didn't even know they existed) but I would definitely contact AC and go to your vet just so that you have some kind of documentation of the occurrence. Next time she does this call the police! I cannot believe that!

I know I was shocked and mad all at the same time!! I will defiantly go in in the morning to the vet. People are just crazy they really just have no respect anymore looks like my dogs still can't play outside without me being right there :(

Yor-Key 2 Luv 08-23-2011 04:22 AM

I never let my dogs out of site! This is a crazy world we live in!

Sookie 08-23-2011 04:24 AM

Some people are truly crazy. I would be soooooo mad!

Micah my love 08-23-2011 04:38 AM

That is so bad, but i would not be to worried about him getting her pregnant at
his age, i'm betting nothing happened or you would have found them tied..mine never would have bred that young nor would i have let them..some people are very strange

itsbaddangel 08-23-2011 04:55 AM

Personally, I would never leave my dogs unattended....I'm not worried about a crazy neighbor, just the crows swooping down to grab them for lunch!

Donnainohio63 08-23-2011 05:59 AM

I am sorry this happened to you but I will let you know that your baby is not to young to get her prego. Scooter was only 4 months old when he got my Sadie. I would take him to the vet to get checked out and I would call the ac and see what else you can do.

Nancy1999 08-23-2011 06:34 AM

A male has to be 7 months before the AKC will register the litter, but it doesn’t sound like your neighbor cares about that. This seems like stealing to me, after all, many people charge stud services. I wonder how Judge Judy would try the case? If I were you, I'd report it to Animal Control, and I would get my dog fixed a.s.a.p., that one encounter may have changed him, and sex will not become much more tempting. So many unneutered dogs are killed by injuries due to car accidents; they can smell the female miles away. At 5 months, I don't know if he could have impregnated her, they can tie without any sperm, but no pregnancy results. I've read that puppies from a male that is too young often are deformed, not sure if this is true, I read it on YT. I agree with the others, get him to a vet, he can get an SDT even if it’s the first time for both.

My lil friend 08-23-2011 06:48 AM

If it is a chainlink fence,I would plant some bushes. Put a lock on the gate! Make sure that you are with your babies outside. If she is THAT crazy then I would be just a worried about her harming (dropping something over the fence) as a hawk. WOW!! the nerve of some people. Im reasonably sure that I would not of been as polite as you.

yorkietalkjilly 08-23-2011 07:20 AM

Disgusting person! I heard that cattle breeders and farmers used to (and probably still) do this with their farm animals when a neighbor down the way had a particularly nice male animal. Would sneak their female(s) into the pen/corral/field at night, retrieve her/them once all over and speed home happy that they were improving their stock for free without all the expense of having to actually buy good stock. It's theft and I would report it to AC but without proof of her wrongdoing all they can do is take a report. They may try to contact her but it depends upon them, most likely.

I would not let my little ones be outside unmonitored. If I hadn't been standing just inside the back door, I am pretty sure Tibbe would have been stolen the first December I had him. People sped down the alley about 20 - 30 minutes after slowing driving down it, 2 adults jumped out of the back seat and were hurrying toward my back gate when I stepped out onto the back porch, heading straight toward them. They didn't even make eye contact with me, just turned tail, jumped in the car and the driver sped off. I called AC to make them aware a gang of dognappers(4 adults in the car) may be in our neighborhood and they really thanked me for calling. Another time a cat had been stalking Tibbe through the fence and just jumped the fence right before my eyes and I was able to shoo it off and call my neighbor and tell her to not let her cat out alone if it were going to come into my yard. It was the same neighbor's cat who later was in my yard late one night as I let Tibbe out and followed him out fast when he sped around the corner of the house - only to find the cat hitting Tibbe in the face with its paw, him jumping back and then, prey drive raging, starting forward in Yorkie attack mode. Maybe not - maybe he was just going to try to jump on and play with the cat but it still could have escalated. This time the neighbor was hanging over the fence trying to call her cat back. Let's say we spoke about her cat again. Had I not been right on his heels and yelled "Stop!", there could have been a very bad fight. Thank God his little eyes had not been hurt when hit. You just can't allow little dogs like Yorkies and other toy breeds out without constant supervision.

I sure hope nothing comes of this supposed union and she isn't rewarded for her attempts to steal from you. If you weren't wary of those people before, I'll bet you are now! Some people will do anything!

So sorry this happened to you.But why was outside for 20 minutes without supervision? I am always outside with my mine no if's and's or but's. There are too many things that can happen in a flash.
I would take him to vet and him checked out.

Valenie 08-23-2011 09:34 AM

SO I took Tibbs to the vet today they did blood work and everything came back normal. The vet said he looked fine and he didn't 30 mins was long enough for them to tie, or if Tibbs even wanted to at his age since he has not been around a lot of other dogs. Told me to bring him back if he started acting wired. The vet still wants to wait until is the full 6 months to fix him.

Also called AC they took the report and said they had some calls on her and would check it out to call them asap if she came back. So IDK...

Also since yesterday Tibbers has been very aggressiveness with my little girl puppy bella is this normal??

Vets don't always have specialized training in specific breeds. A yorkie can pretty much do a slam bam thank you ma'am. I've read some breeders say, it can be less than a minute. I understand why the vet would want to wait till 6 months, this gives the bone plates a chance to close and baby teeth can be pulled at this time.

yorkietalkjilly 08-23-2011 09:52 AM

Tibbe gets very excited and seems to change after he has been around a new dog for a couple of days. He seems much more "dog" and seems like he's more aggressive. My son's big dog came over one time and barked at the neighbor's dog who was always alpha to Tibbe through the fence and Tibbe seemed fine with it. After seeing big Tex bark the other dog away from the fence and sending him to the other side of the yard, Tibbe did that himself the next day!!! Ever since, I kid you not at all, Tibbe is alpha and barks that dog away, stands up on the fence and backs the dog off - and that Corgi male is 3-4 times Tibbe's size! I think Tibbe got that attitude from watching Tex in his own yard, so I think they learn things from close encounters with other dogs. And every visit by Tex since, I can tell Tibbe is pumped up for a day or two. Also, if there was some sort of sexplay or tying even, he's probably feeling very macho from being around the female.

We just put in the fence and a dogie door in so they could go outside. We live in a Trailer park my yard is very small. I really didn't think about anything happening... We do not have any large birds or big animals around so I honestly thought he would be ok. We have cameras up and the park has cameras too so I thought I had all my bases covered.

I hope not ... but Im glad all his blood work came back good and he was clean. Yea he did say he wanted to pull those teeth.

What she did was wrong. I am glad that your dog is alright. We all make mistakes. You now know your neighbor is not trust worthy so you will have to watch out for more crazy actions !

ArmaniMan 08-23-2011 11:17 AM

How did she get into your yard? You need to get locks on your fence doors!

I do she put her dog over top my fence... I have her on video doing it she just dropped her down into my yard.... the AC people came and picked up my footage they say she has to go to court and her dog has been picked up. Our court date has been sat for the 22 of next month.

yorkietalkjilly 08-23-2011 11:27 AM

Oh, you have video???!!!! How did you get that? I thought you didn't know the female had been in your yard until you went outside.

Valenie 08-23-2011 11:31 AM

I didn't the cameras are up and record in case someone try's to steal something I dont keep them on a live feed in my home. And after I posted on here that I had some up I was like duh Valenie there is your proof....so I went out got my little tape and there it was pretty as you please her dropping that poor baby down into my yard. I have a privacy fence about 6 feet so she had to fall about 4 feet of the way down the other side so I called AC back they came down and got my tape and told me my court date!

yorkietalkjilly 08-23-2011 11:32 AM

Clever lady! No wonder you have a court date! I might PM you for your system if that is okay as I've been thinking of getting one.
