Hi, This is my first time posting on this site. I have a 5 pound yorkie named Apple. We bred her on April 30th, then again on the May 1, and 3rd (I don't know why but the breeder said that's how he does it). I took her last Tuesday (techinically day 61 from the first time she went to see her man) to the vet for an x-ray to see how many puppies to expect and we found out it was just one. But her temp was already down to 99 so we expected her to deliver within the next 24-36 hours. Well we still have no puppy and the vet wants to do a c-section tomorrow morning. Of course I am totally stressed about that. I spoke with another person today who suggested that because she only had one puppy on her first litter and that she isn't in labor yet we should get her fixed because she probably won't have any better results next time?? Does anyone have any thoughts about that? I want to do what's best for her but I really want to breed her again. Any thoughts??? Your advice would be aprreciated Have a great day

Congrats to you and Diamond. It is like watching your children being born. I'm having a blast. Mine are 5 weeks now, playful and teething. These last weeks have given me a bounty of joy, not much sleep but tons of joy. I wish you the same. I just moved them in their puppy condo, I'll have to post pics soon (it's been a while). Enjoy!

Hello, i know this is a fairly old post but i searched 'morning sickness' and itlead me to this post. Can dog's experience morning/day sickness due to being pregnant? She was with a male 4 day's ago, and the previous day also...we didn't think they had a ny sucsess as the male, there was no 'tieing' but have heard they can fall pregnant without actually tieing? Now yesterday lola was very sick! She has not really eaten, so know it's not due to eating anything sje shouldn't, oh the only thing different was that my daughter fed her a few green peas...she's had before with no probs. Today she's stopped being sick ( touch wood) and is just sleepy and cuddly. So could she be expecting? Laura XX

I think 4 days is a bit early for morning sickness, but could be. Shayna was only slightly sick, a yack or two in the a day and wouldn't eat, I fed her saltines. I did read here that the tie doesn't always happen and your girl can still get pregnant. If your wondering if shes pregnsnt, I'm afraid its a waiting game and time will tell.
