| golden parti Yorkie Yorkshire Terrier Breeder - Parti Color Yorkies, Chocolate Yorkies - Golden Yorkie Puppies I have never seen a yorkie that looks like this. I thought I would ask here if this is something that is really uncommon. I love this color I would like to know what you all think. I am not quite ready for another Yorkie yet ( my husband will get me another one when I graduate from collage) but I would love to have one like this |

| They are very pretty but they are super expensive because there arent that many of them or many breeders breeding them

| Golden colored and parti colored yorkies have been in the breed for many, many years but they were denied registration until the year 2000. Recently, breeders have taken the golden colored yorkie and parti colored yorkie and bred them together to produce puppies that carry for both parti and gold, then they bred the carriers back to each other in order to produce the golden parti puppy that you're asking about. The pups are AKC registered.

| I love the golden party yorkies I think they are just beautiful, there are few people who have them in thier avitar, they are simply beautiful, however I personally dont care for the chocolate yorkies, and hopefully a breeder or someone more educated can come along and tell you why they should not be more expensive as it is a default and not standard for a yorkie. ( chocolate yorkies that is)

As for their cost, this color is a newer color and until there are more pups being produced that are this color, their prices will be high. Parti colored pups were once selling for 5000.00 or more (I know cause I have one, she's my best buddy and I've never bred her - she's 3 years old and 4 1/2 lbs). Parti colors are now selling for 2000 - 3500 on average with full breeding rights, with some lower and some higher priced. I've seen parti colored being sold as pets for 1000.00 or less. So give it time, golden parti prices will come down too :-)

| I do hope that the prices come down. I will not be looking to get another Yorkie for about 2 1/2 years so I have some time. I Just had never seen one and they are so beautiful. |

| Some breeders do charge according to the color and those are the breeders to avoid. I dont think you can decide who is a good breeder based on the price they charge. You just have to question and research the breeder. They should be breeding for Health, temperament and how they conform to the standard. Now with the off colors they dont meet the standard on color but they should be following it in size and structure
