Thankyou When you take a deposit you should have a little deposit contract/receipt that says something like: Buyer paid ___ amount as a deposit on ___day. In the event that the buyer changes their mind about purchasing puppy, deposit will not be refunded. However, breeder reserves the right to change mind about sale for any reason at which point the deposit will be refunded. Something like that should protect both you and the buyer

Thanks for the advice! After that I gonna make sure that I have that write down in the deposit form next time!
do you guys think that she will give some trouble? I gave the person living with her a money order back so I have the proof that I refund the money.It is written in her name too........ I wish I knew some kind of law..

No, I don't think so. I mean, what can she do? You gave her the money back and she never had possession of the pup. I wouldn't worry about it..she'll eventually get over it and go away
