I kept trying to get a yorkie thru rescue, they do go toooo fast. I was approved & told it was the best ap they had seen in a long time, but the yorkies I was interested in had been adopted
each time I would see another and email adopted adopted adopted. Fostering is your best bet to getting one. The adoption fee for the ones I was interestred in were $600 which was fine but they never had a match for me available. So I found a small hobby breeder & it was a 4 hr drive but worth it. The yorkie rescue that pulls out of Ohio I believe is in PA & its drivable, just because its out of state doesnt mean it has to fly, actuallly rescues wont fly, If they agrred to a out of state adoption, you would have to drive or fly there. I would have gone to china to get my girl
