Default Shaking

Hi everyone.

Recently, about four days ago, Remy started shaking quite a bit. It happens a lot when mom or I hold him while standing up (he calms down when on our lap) and while in his crate. For example, tonight he was periodically shaking inside his crate. He's also become more whiny and wakes up quite often at night, which hasn't been the case ever since we got him. He seems to be eating and drinking just fine. No other behavioral changes as far as I can see.

The only thing of significance that happened during the past four days is mom's husband visiting from NYC (they are in the process of relocating to FL). He has not been very considerate of the puppy's schedule and was rather loud (slamming doors, turning up TV, etc.) during the night when he couldn't sleep. Prior to this visit and the associated disturbances, Remy had been sleeping just fine. Could this be related to his current behavior? Could shaking indicate a serious health problem in the context that it is happening?
