He doesn't know why he's programed to eat grass any more than why he lifts his leg to pee or scratch up the dirt or grass after pooping. It's just a carry over from his wild ancesters. Wild dogs, wolves, coyote and all eat grasses, berries and such. Won't hurt him, but maybe you should make him up some fresh ground veggies such as broccoli, carrots and add some kind of green bean. |
