I like the idea of being at a show with my yorkie and being SUPER nice and reminding her, I may even take copy of the email, and hopefully (God willing) my dog will place better.
Cause you know what goes around comes around...
Perhaps she has been burned badly by someone recently, many times? Who knows? |
Don't give up on your dream. I went to the Rose City Classic here in Portland a couple weeks ago. That is a pretty big show. I watched and saw no pettiness among the competitors. They were all laying on their prospective tables pretty much content.

Oh and the humans on the other end of the lead....well all I can say is they were friendly and very helpful with other show people. In the last year, I have been to several shows and have found for the most part, most of the show people are friendly and helpful. Especially to people just starting out in the show world. I suppose you will find a few that can be nasty, but that happens anywhere.
It is unfortunate that you do not live closer to someone that would be willing to mentor you. Since you don't, take advantage of any shows that you are able to attend and ask tons of questions. You might be surprised at how helpful and informative they will be.
