Can you list what we can eat??? So no potatoes or rice at all ? What about cheese?
You can have milk products high in fat, so cheese is fine, some cheese is less carbs than others. Monterrey jack is a good one. Ranch dressing is ok too. You can also find carb options ranch that is 0 carbs and tastes better than regular ranch imo. Their ice creams are EXCELLENT! You can have a little whip cream.

No potatoes, no rice, no flour, no sugar, no pasta. But I have found there are now excellent foods available to take the place of most things. Shirataki noodles are an excellent replacement for pasta. No carbs, very few calories. There is a brand of "flour" tortillas that is REALLY good (a lot of the low carb tortillas are yucky though so I'll have to find out what the brand is) and I cut them up and fry them to make chips and have guacamole. Put cheese in them and make quesadillas. I don't have this kind of thing until I've been on the diet a while though. You can have most green veggies & mushrooms, no carrots. If you absolutely need something sweet, a slice of apple, a couple strawberries or blueberries are ok because they are higher in fiber content.
