Oh my gosh...I have just been staring at that picture! I do think it's a fox...I think a wolf would be much too big for an eagle to try to take. Also, the white at the end of the tail is a fox trait.
It gives me the creeps seeing that and thinking of our yorkies being vulnerable to them! I've seen those type eagles an hour south of here. I'm right next door to Montana. Truly amazing photo...but I sure hope the little fox is still alive and well! |
