I have never used a plastic comb/brush, so I am not sure what the difference is. I have a natural boar bristle brush and a two metal combs (one small for face and then a larger one for body).

I have cowboy magic, but I haven't used it yet...as Mojo normally does not tend to get tangles. I am getting Sea Breeze Oil (as recommended by Villette) to use also.

I have heard that Best Shot was good, as well as Ice on Ice - from what I have read here - but have never tried them.
