I really don't know how to answer because Hootie and Hobbs really don't bark at all. Hobbs may bark once when someone knocks on the door, but I really can't determine if it is a "yap" or a "bark." Hootie never really makes a peep unless it is growling at Hobbs when he tries to steal her bones.
