Hi Nicole,
Thank you for sharing about Roxy, this really helps to know the common symptoms with Collapsing Trachea. Amy has never "Goose Honked", she only has ever coughed and coughed, she has never quit coughing except when I give her the horrible hydrocodone they had given me a long time ago to give her. With that she always has a mucus problem and at times it becomes extreme and she falls very ill. Antibiotics after antibiotics, never any results.
Thank you too for suggesting to search on the board for Collapsing Trachea, we did and found many posts that help.
We are becoming more suspicious that Amy has been misdiagnosed. We are saddened with all this time that has passed and all that she has suffered because of it, we have been through so much of bad experiences with Vets and all, and she is so very tiny and precious.
Now we are looking more into Kennel Cough, and we are going to try a formula that has been found to be successful in treating Kennel Cough with many dogs.
Thank you again
Rachel and Amy
