I completely gave up drinking pop/juice 1 year and 2 months ago...it feels great, really it does. I occasionally have a glass, but 99.9% of my fluid intake is water. |
Boy do I agree with this!!!! The sodium in many items is unbelieveable so even if you drink over 8 glasses, as long as the food intake is there, I don't see how it is possible to deplete your system of salt. But if the food with sodium is not in your diet and you drink more, I have heard that it can be bad for you. My husband is not much of a water drinker but he has kidney stones and prostate problems so his urologist said drink, drink, drink....water, that is (lol). So what I have done is I put a quarter cup of juice in a 16 ounce bottle and then fill the rest with bottled water. Amazing how much more water he has been drinking since I started doing that.

Oh yes, and I pee all day when I drink my allotted water with juice.
