I'm a speech-language pathologist for a school district so I work the same schedule as the teachers. I won't be going back until the 3rd week in August. I also leave them all day because I don't live close enough to come home at lunch
but they seem to be okay--just REALLY excited to see me when I get home
. Last summer when I went back to work they seem to have adjusted. Even though they spent 8 weeks out and about all day, they seemed to remember the routine when I was working. It would be really nice if I could take them to work with me but I was only able to bring them in when the students were not there. Plus, I'd want to play with them all day so I'd never get any work done!
