I like having two dogs. Before having 2, I felt kinda guilty whenever I would leave Britney alone at home.. even for the shortest amount of time. Also, the majority of the time, having two dogs isn't all that much harder than owning just a single dog. The only time it becomes somewhat of a problem is when I am walking them (I live in the city) and one wants to stop and pee and the other wants to keep walking and then they wanna play, etc.
It's amazing when you have two dogs how different their personalities are.. so I also like that about having multiple dogs.
Overall, I really enjoy having two dogs. I would love to have more if I could.
Britney, my original dog, doesn't act any differently after getting Brooklyn than she did before.
