Smile Abbey is home

Thank you everyone for your words of hope and support. The vet said she had an inflammatory reaction at the injection site and he thinks this then caused her to vomit. He gave her fluids, phenergan and an anti inflammatory med. She took fluids and ate a little and kept it all down. She also voided. I thought her urine still looked a little darker than usual but he said it was fine. She is still a little lethargic and yelped at times when I was holding her. I am going to keep her in her crate the rest of the night. (she gets a little rambunctious when playing with the dog and cat).
I looked on my statement to see if it gave the name of the vaccine that was for toys...the vet actually said "it is designed specifically for these little guys under 5 pounds", rather than that it was made for toys. He told me the manufacturer but I don't recall the name. It shows on my bill as distemper/parvo for puppies. I will try to remember to ask him when I see him again and will post here.
I sure hope this is the last of unplanned visits to the vet.
Thanks again to everyone.
Ellie
